心怀万里，难以拘于华美鸟笼。
清露滴落时，它漫步于苔径昂首，
白云散开处，它在松风中长鸣。
若要回归华表，当在千年之后，
它的幽怨寄托于瑶琴的别调之中。
它愿与灵龟结为伴侣，
在十洲三岛追随仙翁遨游。

From the marsh's depths, wings descend through clear skies,
A heart that roams ten thousand li scorns a jade cage.
It treads the mossy path where clear dew drips,
Cries out amidst pines where white clouds part.
To return to the memorial pillar will be a thousand years hence,
Its lament lies within the tune of the jade zither.
It would gladly be companion to the divine turtle,
Roaming immortal isles with the ancient sage.
