山色幽深，那是建德城的方向。
千寻高的乔木投下长长的影子
七里泷暮色中的滩声阵阵作响。
游兴已尽便该停下船桨
面对清流正好洗涤我的冠缨。

I pity you, leaving in the clothes-making moon
To sail afar on a distant journey soon.
The river broad, by Tonglu's shore it flows
The mountains deep, around Jiande's walls it goes.
Shadows of towering trees stretch a thousand fathoms long
Sounds of the evening shoals for seven miles throng.
When joy is spent, it's time to rest the oar
By the flowing stream, I'll cleanse my hat-strings once more.
