在树林前汲取井中清澈的水。
空旷的祭坛在白日下静默
神奇的丹鼎中炼制着飞升的丹砂。
拂尘轻拂着带霜的草
金铃在雨后的霞光中摇动。
上奏天章，已与尘世隔绝
看着（他们）在梧桐树荫下对弈。
叩首请教成仙的要诀
黄精的花正可以采来服食。

Together we sit in Master Mao's thatched abode.
Only two young lads are seen
Drawing well-water before the woods.
Empty altar serene under the bright sun
The divine cauldron flies with cinnabar dust.

Golden bells sway in the clearing sky's glow.
Petitioning the heavens, apart from mortal world
Watching a game of Go under slanting paulownia shade.
