Uncomprehending of right and wrong, his cheeks flushed red.
The well-sweep draws water with a creaking sound,
Purple taros and white shallots grow lush and dense.
Gulls and ducks swim quietly in the deep bamboo,
His children and grandchildren are mostly among lovely flowers.
A thousand gates, ten thousand households bustle with carriages and horses—
Who still loves such a primeval air as this?
