多年来我这行船客寄居在禅院门旁，
常说起在青翠山色中的贫居生活。
黄雀几声鸣叫催促柳树变色，
沿着清澈溪流，一路踏着落花归来。
空寂的树林和野寺很少有人经过，
落日深山中伴侣稀少。
背着米回到家，春天还未过去，
悠闲地扫开钓鱼石矶上的风萝。

For years, a boatman guest lodging by the temple gate,
Often speaks of his poor dwelling amidst green hills.
A few calls of yellow orioles urge the willows to change.
Along the clear stream, all the way, treading on petals, he returns.
Empty woods, wild temples, seldom does anyone pass by.
Setting sun in deep mountains, companions are few.
Carrying rice home, spring is not yet over.
Idly sweeping wind-trailing vines off the fishing rock.
