夜间的月亮多么清爽轻盈。
频繁看见这轮圆月，
就该知道华发将生。
不圆满怎能被打破，
刚刚端正又须倾侧。
人间万事也是如此，
因而知晓盛衰倚伏之情。

Vast and empty, between heaven and earth,
The night soul feels so cool and light in mirth.
Seeing this full orb time and again,
Gray hair should sprout, as is the law for men.
Not being round, how can it break apart?
Just upright, it must lean and soon depart.
Human affairs are also of this kind;
Thus I know the feelings of rise and decline entwined.
