在月色下锄地，栽种梅树，
移动云彩，叠起石山一处。

倚着手杖，看那流水潺潺不息。

Alone I plan my secluded dwelling's art,
A few houses by the river, set apart.
The water flows, the sky rests free and vast;
My heart is far, the land feels broad and leisurely at last.
I hoe the moonlight to plant plum trees with care,
And shift the clouds to pile up stony mountains there.
I wish to make a pact with the white gulls, my friend,
Leaning on my staff, I watch the murmuring stream without end.
