群山都低头，仿佛在避让乌龙岭的威势，
行路之人惊异地看见苍翠的山峰倚靠着天空。
大地在中原之地设下如此险要的关隘，
人若没有战斗的意志，又如何能建立功业？
重重宫阙使人觉得天门仿佛很近，
一名士卒就足以扼守雄奇的蜀道。
细细品酌粉泉庵下的清冽泉水，
然后清冷地归去，驾驭着刚劲的长风。

The mountains bow their heads to avoid the Black Dragon's might,
The traveler, startled, sees jade-green peaks leaning against the sky.
The land sets up such peril in the heart of the central plain,
How can men achieve merit if their fighting will has died?
The ninefold heavens feel quite near, as if at Heaven's Gate,
A single soldier could hold firm the hero's path to Shu.
I sip the water from the spring below the Nunnery of Powder,
And, cleansed, ride back upon the stern and rigid wind.
