白话文翻译
苍翠的群山是多幺幽深啊，
上上下下都布满了云雾与树木。
其中有一株具备千年风姿的古木，
它枝干盘曲，静卧在寒冷的山谷。
宏伟的明堂并不征用这样的木材，
技艺高超的大匠又怎会回头眷顾？
樵夫的斧头啊，不要徒劳地去寻找了，
就任由它取悦那幽深孤独的境地吧。

How deep the verdant mountains lie!
Above and below, clouds and trees fill the sky.
Within them stands a form of a thousand years' grace,
Twisted and reclining in the cold valley's embrace.
The grand hall seeks not such timber for its frame,
Would the master craftsman even glance its way?
Woodcutter's axe, do not in vain seek and roam,
Let it charm its solitude, in its mountain home.
