闭门不出以坚守贞洁的操守，
涵养素朴，安于淡泊宁静。
寂静地幽闭在林园之中，
内心空明，外境也无事可作。
细雨滋润着新生的竹竿，
微风吹动着幽深的笋壳。
姑且写成这五言诗句，
吟诵完毕，山花纷纷飘落。
浩然之气能与谁相约？
纵放情怀，遗忘了所有的寄托。

I shut my door to keep my virtue pure,
Nurturing simplicity, at peace in quietude.
Silent and still, secluded in my wooded garden,
My mind is empty, the world stirs no action.
A fine rain moistens the fresh bamboo shoots,
A gentle breeze stirs the secluded bamboo sheaths.
Thus I compose these lines of five characters each,
After chanting them, mountain flowers fall.
Vast and boundless, with whom shall I share this mood?
I release my feelings, letting go of all attachments.
