进入窑中，奔向火神阏伯的烈焰，
随船航行，经历水神阳侯的惊涛。
瓶身独鸟的纹饰藏得安稳，

足以充作朝会贡赋的记载，

The potter's wheel, a ghostly artisan's commands.
Into the kiln it rushed, to meet the fire god's might,
Aboard the ship it sailed, through Neptune's storms in flight.
A lone bird finds a steady perch within its hold,
Twin rainbows seem to flow around its belly's fold.
Fit for a royal tribute, in verse to be told,
On lacquered slips, the tales of Zhou could be enrolled.
