A fresh coolness seeps into my books and scrolls.
If the heart can be free from all worldly care,
Then the mind may travel a thousand years.
Order and chaos know no present or past;
Support and guidance come from sages and worthies.
My neighbor, the old man, must be laughing at me—
The water clock has run dry, yet sleep won't come.
