明月参悟着无味的禅意，
不施加以色彩的妆容。
不知那香山蜡梅的白，
与这江夏蜡梅的黄相比如何？
它使得那些鲜艳夺目的花儿，
难以独擅春风中的舞台。

The wax is what the flower is made of,
So the flower should be even more fragrant.
The moon partakes in Zen, which is flavorless;
It does not adorn itself with colors.
I do not know the white of Fragrant Hill,
How does it compare to the yellow of Jiangxia?
It makes those dazzling blooms
Hardly monopolize the spring breeze's stage.
