我早已明白死亡即是寂灭，
正因为情感尚未忘怀。
宿世的因缘，我已斩断；
恶业的债，你却先偿还了。
到老来反而像颜回一样安贫乐道，
平生错误地讥笑过商瞿的遭遇。
晚风吹送着雨点到来，
我老泪纵横，与雨水一同淋漓。

Long have I known death as extinction,
Yet my heart still clings, for feelings remain.
Past karma, I have already severed;
The evil debt, you were the first to repay.
In old age, I find myself like Yan Hui, poor yet content;
All my life, I mistakenly laughed at Shang Qi's fate.
As the night wind blows and the rain arrives,
My aged tears merge with the pouring rain.
