万物的本质本是空无与寂静，
浮荡的人生犹如在这方池塘之中。
鸥鸟轻盈，时而浮出水面时而隐没，
浮萍散开，只是随意地飘向西东。
栏杆外的风刚刚停息，
天边的明月正缓缓融合于夜色。
完全没有尘垢可供洗涤，
我端坐着，清辉映照着衰老的容颜。

All things are empty, silent in their core,
Our fleeting life drifts on a pond's still floor.
Gulls lightly dip and surface, free and light,
Duckweed, scattered, drifts but east and west in flight.
Beyond the rail, the wind has just now died,
At heaven's edge, the moon begins to glide.
No speck of dust remains here to be cleansed,
The aging man sits straight, by light dispensed.
