A rush cushion leans against the bamboo bed.
Half the window holds the red sun's glow,
A sudden waft of purple orchid scent.
I recite the 'Ode to Leisure' till it's fluent,
And finish writing 'Hasty Drafts' in haste.
For days I haven't stepped outside the gate,
How many spring scenes have thus passed me by?
