The Great Void moves with primal breath,
All things rely on it for life and death.
If a thing deviates from its proper course,
This vital breath withdraws its nourishing force.
Flesh corrupted breeds worms and decay,
Wood corrupted gives termites their way.
Alas! Governance follows the same rule,
From such decay, the crafty and cruel.
When corruption persists, nothing can be done,
The breath wanes, and the thing is undone.
But if the primal breath remains strong and true,
Then the death of corruption will surely ensue.
