沿着九曲崎岖的山路，我走入幽深昏暗之中。
在苍翠的悬崖断裂处，看见云雾升腾涌动。
置身于高处时，竟不知晓其中的险峻；
待到回首望去，方才感到心惊。
半山腰雷声奔涌，岩石仿佛从空中坠落；
满山鲜花盛开，在清晨的霞光中格外明丽。
人世间难道就没有平坦的道路吗？
为何我偏偏喜爱这趟旅程呢？

Through ninefold winding rugged path, into the deep gloom I go.
Where cliffs are rent asunder, clouds are seen to rise and flow.
Standing aloft, I know not the peril of the height;
Looking back, I'm startled by the danger in my sight.
Halfway up the ridge, thunder roars and rocks fall from the sky;
All over the hill, flowers bloom 'neath morning clouds floating by.
Is there no level ground in the world for us to tread?
Why do I love this journey, with such perils ahead?
