寺院隐藏在松树和桂树之间，
远远地位于城墙的一角。
我来到时已是岁末，
天气寒冷，景象格外不同。
放眼望去，获得美好的意趣，
各种杂念都像被洗涤清除。
等到这斋戒时分的钟声响起，
简单的饮食慰藉了我清瘦的身躯。
方丈的居室，晨光尚未照入，
香篆的烟缕沉入熏香炉中。
姑且使用这助我游览胜境的用具，
没有空闲去学习盘腿打坐。
我缓步行走在大明寺里，
山色风光美好而充裕。
郊野平原自有春日的色彩，
万物情意仿佛相互取悦。
习公是四海知名的士人，
豪迈的气概可编结老虎的胡须。
偶然邂逅，我们停车交谈，
他邀请我一同进行清雅的游赏。
跟随我们的还有两位谢氏友人，
谈笑间寄托着欢歌与呼喊。

The temple hides among pines and cassia trees,
Far off in a corner of the city wall.
I come as the year draws to its close,
The cold weather makes the scene feel strange and tall.
My eyes take in delightful sights,
All worldly thoughts are washed away like tides.
And now the bell rings for the fasting hour,
A simple meal consoles my lean frame's powers.
The abbot's room, the morning sun not yet arrived,
Incense curls and sinks in the censer, still alive.
I'll just employ my means to roam and see,
With no time now to learn the cross-legged pose, free.
I stroll at leisure through Daming Temple's ground,
Where mountain radiance abounds, a beauty found.
The outskirts show their own spring hues,
All things seem bent on giving joy and muse.
Master Xi, a scholar known throughout the land,
With a hero's spirit, braving tiger's whiskers grand.
By chance we meet, our carriage curtains drawn aside,
He invites me to join his pure journey, side by side.
We're followed by two Xies, companions fine,
With laughter, talk, and songs that intertwine.
