想要避暑,只恨自己没有一双翅膀;
久坐已倦,又去水边临望;
To escape the heat, I wish I had a pair of wings;
I fear the Silver River's waves might also dry.
Sitting long, weary, I go again to face the water;
Lying down, sleepless, I lean once more on the rail.
I think to cut white clouds to spread a jade mat,
And gather the bright moon to store in a gold plate.
How is it that meeting Master Zhang just once,
His pure discourse, like ice, chills the seats with its spray?
