将星的光芒照耀着东海云涛之滨。
他的声名如同宣慰使裴度那样显赫，
他的地位堪比平章事韩琦那般崇高。
军中的大旗和高牙仪仗装点着这山水环绕的县城，
他身着褒衣博带，出入于培育人才的学宫。
书生我真心为这文教兴盛而感到欣喜，
祭祀的礼器竟先行于军旅之中。

The general's star shines bright over the eastern sea and clouded shores.

In scholar's robe and broad sash, he graces halls of learning's dreams.
A书生's heart rejoices for the cause of culture and of grace,
