倾斜的阳光照在残破的栏杆上，蛛网密布；
这凄凉的陈迹，引发万古的悲愁。
柘水仿佛还在呜咽，倾诉亡国的怨恨；
山上的松树曾见证当年受封的时辰。
石碑被苔藓侵蚀，没有完整的字迹；
城墙被农田侵占，失去了旧日的根基。
当年东瓯之地，经历过多少战事？
如今只剩下一座荒凉的祠庙而已。

The slanting sunbeams fall on broken rails, where spiderwebs are spun;
These ancient ruins, bleak and drear, evoke eternal grief for days undone.
The Zheshui River still laments the fallen state with murmurs low;
The pines upon the hill once saw the fief bestowed in long ago.
The steles, moss-eaten, bear no characters intact and clear to sight;
The city walls, by fields encroached, have lost their former base and might.
How many battles raged in Dong'ou in those bygone days of strife?
Now nothing but a desolate shrine remains to tell of ancient life.
