隐士的家坐落在青翠的山间，
茅草屋顶，竹子做成的门扉。
红日自行升起又落下，从早到晚，
青山隔绝了人世间的是是非非。
野花开放，没有蝴蝶来照管，
奇异的树木仿佛有神灵依偎。
我越发相信山林泉石的乐趣，
年事已高，白发稀疏，心境安闲。

The hermit's home lies in the emerald hills,
A thatched hut with a bamboo door frames the view.
The red sun rises and sets as it wills,
Green mountains hold no judgments, false or true.
Wild flowers bloom with no butterflies to tend,
Strange trees stand tall, by spirits they are blessed.
More I believe in the joy woods and streams lend,
Aged, with thinning white hair, I find my rest.
