征雁发出嘹亮的鸣叫，飞越碧空。
暮霭之外传来采菱人咿呀的歌声，
明月之中响起捣衣的丁丁砧声。
细雨潇潇，滴在蕉叶窗上，
蟋蟀在草砌边唧唧地悲鸣。
忽然间，我心中涌起像宋玉那样的悲秋情怀，
我踱来踱去，搔着头，思绪纷乱不宁。

Countless withered leaves beat against the west wind,
In clear, long calls, wild geese traverse the azure sky.
From beyond the misty dusk come faint songs of water chestnut gatherers,
Amid the bright moonlight, the thud of washing mallets sounds.
A fine, pattering rain drips on the plantain by the window,
Chirping sadly, crickets sing by the grassy steps.
Suddenly, my heart is filled with thoughts like those of Song Yu,
Pacing to and fro, I scratch my head, my mind in restless turmoil.
