它金色的羽毛如同黄金一般
从雪后初晴的山中飞向高天。
清晨啼鸣时，其他禽鸟都静默无声；
在繁花间歌唱，栖于另一棵闲静的树中。
微弱的阳光仿佛为它独自照耀；
急促的管乐声偶然与它的啼鸣相和。
红杏园林广阔无垠，
时常能够在此往来盘旋。

Like golden feathers, it soars on high
Out of the snow-clear mountain into the sky.
At dawn, its song leaves other birds in silent awe;
Amidst the blossoms, it sings from a separate bough.
The faint sun seems to shine for it alone;
A sudden flute's note stirs a sympathetic tone.
Through the vast garden of red apricot trees,
It comes and goes with the passing seasons at ease.
