整夜它们组成欢乐的乐队，
雨过后，蛙声夹杂着下棋的声响。
心静的人没有俗务役使，
任凭你随性鸣叫。

Over the still pond, grass grows green;
Tadpoles thrive, self-begotten, unseen.
They deem the sky glimpsed through water small;
Why then envy the moon's bright, full ball?
All night they form a merry band;
After rain, their croaks mix with chess-players' hand.

Sings with you, in spontaneous glee.
