别墅旁的梅花与汀洲畔，有客船的帆影经过，
时值岁末，南方的天气依然温和。
湘江与漓江在此汇合，流水湍急，
山峦中藏着洞穴与沟壑，吐出许多云雾。
村中人家酿酒，连酒糟一同浑浊未滤，
小吏抄写诗篇，发觉文字有讹误。
几点白鸥，清雅如画，
它们对着人飞下，停泊在寒凉的莎草上。

By the shore, past the villa's plum trees, a traveler's sail glides by,
In the year's late days, the southern sky's climate is mild and high.
The rivers, Xiang and Li, converge, their flowing waters swift and deep,
The mountains hide caves and ravines, whence clouds in thick clusters creep.
Village households brew their wine, the unstrained dregs still thick and strong,
A petty clerk copies poems, finding characters gone wrong.
A few white gulls, pure as a painting, in the clear air appear,
They fly down towards people, and perch on the cold sedge near.
