Divine peaks stand firm in the eastern sea,
Where jade pools and emerald streams embrace the silver palace.
Morning haze and evening mist persist through time,
While chariots of wind and feathered wheels rush in endless haste.
The lofty library pierces the firmament,
Where sages gather, their pendants flying like wild geese.
No worldly winds or sunlight ever reach this place,
A carefree realm as if within the sacred mountains.
Two immortal elders from Tiao Stream and Min's hills,
Their rafts pierce the moon, traversing the vast misty deep.
They share the eastern wall's light, their brushes weave brocade,
Hand in hand at West Kun, their aura hangs like a rainbow.
Tired of court duties, they retreat to rivers and lakes,
Looking back, clouds and mist obscure the fairy isles.
Duckweed scattered by wind gathers once again,
Meeting by chance beneath red canopies and crimson banners.
Old travels are recalled beneath the autumn sky,
Where city corners hold scenes almost the same.
They plan a small abode, naming it Yingzhou Isle,
With towering eaves painted in azure and red.
Forget the weak water's thirty thousand miles,
No need to envy the jade tower's twelvefold height.
The cave gate unlocked, shade of pear trees in daylight,
Fragrance of lotus wafts from Mount Taihua's breeze.
Night shines with radiance from the Star God's torch,
We share fine wine, served by the immortal pot-bearer.
Linru since ancient times is known as a fairy den,
With Spirit Valley on left, E Peak on the right.
The old man Fuqiu rides a white crane,
While Lady Wei of the altar leads a blue-robed lad.
Glad to hear golden reins from the jade universe,
Often they come, sleeves linked, to join the throng.
Yet fear their worldly duty remains unfinished,
A banner, a tally—hard to linger long.
A nine-heaven phoenix bears twin decrees in its beak,
Through palace gates they ride, their trappings jingling cold.
Not just the eighteen scholars march in step,
But winds and clouds of court see pairs ascend as dragons.
Together they prepare rain-bringing boats and oars,
In later years to chase immortals, riding whales.
