击鼓出发，从东边的渡口启航，
停泊船桨，漫游于西边的山林。
渺然望去，沙洲水渚相隔遥远，
深远地进入烟霭云霞的浓密深处。
修长的廊庑感受着涧风的清凉，
古老的大殿笼罩着山间的阴郁之气。
晨光在稚嫩的竹丛上焕发光彩，
夏天的声响由幽僻的禽鸟婉转传来。
寥寥无几，是我放逐漂泊的足迹，
落落寡合，是这羁旅他乡的吟咏。
奇妙的墨迹挥洒，仿佛能震动屋壁，
高洁的名声照耀着山冈与峰岑。
文章精妙，视公侯权贵为渺小，
道义高超，令天地世人都钦敬。
我诚心祈愿世间的纷争能够止息，
或许能期待寻访到开悟的贤士。
想要追随他却未能如愿以偿，
年华与鬓发上，愁绪渐渐侵染。

Beating drums, we set off from the eastern shore,
Resting oars, we roam the western woods once more.
Gazing afar where isles and shoals lie separate,
We enter deep where mist and clouds accumulate.
Long corridors are cooled by streamside breezes light,
The ancient hall is shaded by the mountain's might.
Morning hues glow on tender bamboo's fresh attire,
Summer sounds are turned by hidden birds' choir.
Lonely, my tracks of exile lie scattered and bare,
Desolate, the chant of a wanderer fills the air.
Marvelous writings stir the walls of this retreat,
A lofty name illuminates the ridge complete.
Refined in letters, he held lords in small esteem,
Triumphant in Dao, heaven and men hold him in dream.
Sincerely I wish the world's disputes would cease,
Hoping to seek the sage who brings inner peace.
Yet to follow him seems beyond my grasp today,
As years and greying temples bring sorrow's sway.
