四面八方的烟霭光影升腾而起。
一弯新月落入湖心，
它的光芒照透了琉璃般明澈的湖水。
水面倒映着广阔的天光，
一缕孤烟在暮色中弥漫，不肯收敛。
不要再凝望那一钩新月了，
它只会勾起旅人的愁绪。

The sun dips down behind the western hill,
From all around the misty light ascends.
A crescent moon into the lake drops still,
And through the crystal heart its beam descends.
The water's surface, vast with sky's reflection,
A lone evening mist lingers, not withdrawn.
Gaze not upon that hook-like moon's connection,
It but arouses the traveler's forlorn.
