整日待在梅花旁边，
每一枝都深深印入我的肺腑心肝。
花瓣湿润，仿佛是刚刚剪下的霜花，
它的清雅洁净，胜过可供食用的美玉。
如同严光在水边悠然垂钓，
又像孟郊在寒风中吟诗。
近年来难以寻得真正的知心朋友，
请务必珍重这梅花，莫要让风将其吹残。

All day I linger by the plum tree's side,
Each branch and twig sinks deep into my heart.
Its dampness seems like frost just newly pared,
Its purity outshines jade fit to eat.
Like Yan Guang angling by the waters clear,
Or Meng Jiao chanting in the chilling breeze.
In recent years, a true friend's hard to find,
So cherish them, don't let the wind blow them away.
