全然忘却了生命终将腐朽的本质，
径直想要模仿那傍晚时分的光辉。
它点亮了书斋的帷帐，一片寂静，
能为稀疏的星宿增添些许光亮。
迎着风时，才独自显露出光芒；
带着雨水，忽然变得微弱难寻。
它的幻灭并无多少深奥的道理，
繁荣与枯萎终将归于同一结局。

Forgotten is the decay of life's frame,
It mimics the evening's radiant gleam.
It lights the study's curtain, still and deep,
And adds to sparse stars in the sky's vast sweep.
Against the wind, its own light it displays;
In sudden rain, its faintness dims the gaze.
Its brief existence holds no complex lore,
Both bloom and wither reach one end, no more.
