树梢上几只蝉儿鸣叫。
慵懒地独自闲坐着；
悠闲地穿着自己的鞋漫步。
追着风，又在月下撑船，
怎能得到一叶小舟横在水上！

Noonday heat is so unbearably cruel;
Evening coolness can be refreshingly cool.
A pair of egrets descend by the shady hill;
A few cicadas chirp from the treetops shrill.
Lazy, I sit alone in idle repose;
Leisurely, I stroll without borrowed shoes.
Chasing the wind and punting under the moon,
How I wish a small boat were here to be strewn!
