登山本来就不是件讨厌的事，
更何况飞雪还在不断飘落相随。
雪光映照，让我惭愧自己并非美玉，
笑着抓住绳索，攀援而上。
向来听说登山需要孜孜不倦地努力，
今日我才真正一层层地登上高处。
岂止是在通往长安的道路上，
骑着毛驴寻觅诗句的雅兴，在此雪景中也能实现。

Climbing the mountain is not a bad thing at all,
Especially when flying snowflakes keep falling in thrall.
Their shimmer shames the jade, so pure and bright,
I laugh, clutching the rope, scaling the height.
I've heard of toiling up, step by step with might,
Today I ascend layer upon layer in the snow-white.
Not just on the road to Chang'an, one can find delight,
Riding a donkey, seeking verses, in this snowy site.
