我流落到这南方州郡，已觉得路途遥远；
从五溪再往南去，那便是真正的天涯了。
离别的愁肠何止千回百转；
斑白的双鬓，如今已不堪承受，又添了半数白发。
我深深感念，你我同为羁旅之客，共度此日；
又极为怜惜，那每每引我归家的梦境。
倘若您能如约前往仙都赴会，
我仍愿奋力向上，与您比肩，让玉佩在云霞间飞扬。

Exiled to southern lands, I feel the distance vast;
From Five Streams onward, the world's edge is reached at last.
My parting sorrow twists and turns, ten thousand fold;
My frosty temples, now half white, begin to grow old.
I think of you, a guest like me, on this same day;
And pity my returning dreams that homeward stray.
If you, my lord, keep your tryst with the immortal sphere,
I'd strive to soar with you, our jade pendants brushing the sheer.
