能让盛暑化作凉秋。
故官在此留有遗迹，
客子暂来便生出许多愁绪。
万顷云波在清晨涌向古城墙，
一蓑寒雨送走一叶扁舟。
他年要将这景致画下带回，
定要让北方人清亮双眼。

A few mounds of hills, pines and cassia trees serene,
Can turn the sweltering summer into cool autumn.
Here lie the relics of the old palace;
A traveler stopping by cannot but feel a surge of sorrow.
Vast clouds and waves surge towards the ancient battlements at dawn,
A lone fisherman in straw cloak rows his boat through cold rain.
In future years, I'll take back a painting of this scene,
To clear the eyes of northern folks with its pure view.
