不惜花费万钱，即使囊中空空也要买花，
点缀这芬芳的花草，仿佛画工精心描画。
十样锦的织机图案翻新于剑门关外，
一年的美好春色，都凝聚在这壶中花海。
醒来时，莫要让风吹散了这碧绿的枝叶，
醉意朦胧中，又何妨让烛光映红这花朵。
等到他年这些花木长成，可以做成步障，
我便寄信去唤那苇溪边的老翁前来观赏。

Buying flowers, I spare no expense though my purse is drained,
Adorning the fragrant blooms like a painter's skill attained.
Ten patterns of brocade looms weave beyond the Sword Pass's view,
A year's springtime splendor is held within this pot, it's true.
Awake, don't let the wind scatter these jade-green leaves away,
Drunk, why mind if the candle's glow sets the red blooms aglow?
Wait till in future years they form a splendid screen so grand,
I'll send a letter to summon the old man by Reed Stream's land.
