新春时节在鼎洛宴请英才俊杰，
主人仪态雍容，礼待下属官员。
两位宰相并肩而立，官居一品，
十位白发老臣，曾侍奉三朝。
在星阶上并列，瞻望三台星的光耀，
时时举杯饮酒，仿佛舀取北斗的勺柄。
我这个东颍的庸夫最为不成器，
却也厚着脸皮来赴这美好的邀请。

In new spring, at the Dingluo feast, talents gather, bright and grand;
The host, with grace and courtesy, greets officials of the land.
Two ministers, shoulder to shoulder, hold the highest official grade;
Ten men with hair of frost have served three dynasties, undismayed.
On starry steps they stand aligned, gazing at the lofty light;
With wine in hand, they toast the Dipper, sharing joy from night to night.
I, from Dongying, the most unworthy, feel a sense of shame and dread,
Yet join this noble gathering, my humble face among the honored spread.
