A hollow valley echoes sound afar.
The mountain sage, with lofty ideals bright,
Borrows the name 'Empty Valley' like a star.
Within it flows a stream, a ribbon clear,
Issuing from the fountainhead of mind.
I long to follow him and wander near,
And cleanse my dusty cap in winds that blow unkind.
