我曾几次乘轿来访。
楼台殿阁仍是旧时景象，
杉树桧树抚摸着新栽的苗木。
湘水浩浩荡荡地流去，
秋山从各个方向展开容颜。
我徘徊思索千古兴衰，
清风幽谷中留有无限的哀愁。

Before the Peak of Cast Alms Bowl, the temple stands,
By sedan chair I've come, counted times in hands.
Towers and terraces retain their old sight,
Firs and cypresses, newly planted, invite.
The Xiang River, vast and grand, flows out of sight,
Autumn mountains, face to face, open bright.
Pacing, I ponder thoughts of ages in flight,
The wind in the valley holds lingering sorrow's blight.
