亭子倚着岸边，凌空而立，仿佛巨鳌头顶的冠冕，
湖光与山色相互映衬，都显得那么高远。
惊涛拍岸，纷沓的声响如同千军万马奔腾；
远方的树木模糊不清，只隐约看见一丝痕迹。
昔日馆娃宫早已空寂，与尘世隔绝，
帝都究竟在何方？客居之心倍感劳顿。
吴门那彩绣飘扬的景象何曾亲眼得见，
早已察觉秋霜的痕迹染上了我的鬓发。

Lake's gleam and mountain's hue vie with each other in height.
Startled waves, in tumult, sound like a thousand cavalrymen;

The beauty's mansion lies empty, cut off from the human world;
Where is the imperial capital? The traveler's heart grows weary.
The silken splendor of Wu's gates—how could I have ever beheld it?
