云雾遮掩着岳麓山上的古寺，
江水奔流汇入洞庭湖中。
晴日之下百花争相绽放，
丰年时节美酒容易买到。
长沙城十万户人家，繁华热闹，
出游的女子姿容美丽，仿佛京都景象。

Crossing the River Xiang when spring is passing by,
I truly view the scenes that make the Eight Views famed high.
Clouds veil the Temple on Yuelu Mountain's crest,
The river flows into Dongting Lake, eastward bound.
On sunny days, the flowers vie in blooming zest,
In harvest years, the wine is easily found.
Changsha's hundred thousand households, a bustling sight,
Its roaming maids as fair as in the capital's light.
