它们结出果实后，枝条又会相伴。
这仍胜过西涧的流水，
一去便杳无音信，再无归期。
我静坐着体察万物之理，
这光景令人平添了鬓边白发。

Two apricot trees in a sparse garden
Scattered by wind and rain through the night.
Do not grieve over their scattering,
For fruit will form and branches reunite.
Better than the stream in the western glen,
Which flows away, never to return in sight.
In quiet sitting, I observe nature's ways,
Which only adds more silver threads to my plight.
