雨停了，天空已是一片秋意，暑热虽退，白昼依然漫长。
姑且在清朗的白天睡上一觉，度过这正午时分的景致。
虫子在篱笆边鸣叫，天色向晚，地处偏僻，邻里一片寂静。
我或起或坐，傍晚听到鸡鸣，空寂的厅堂中没有世俗的声响打扰。
我并非那种急切奔忙的人，却失足陷入了世间的机巧陷阱。
天道不会欺骗我，在此处（昼睡中）遣送了晨昏时光。

The rain has passed, autumn fills the sky, / Though summer's gone, the daylight's still high.
I'll while away the clear noon's span, / In slumber through this midday's plan.
Insects chirp by the fence as evening nears, / In this secluded spot, no neighbor's voice appears.
I rise and sit, hear evening's rooster call, / In empty hall, no vulgar sounds at all.
I am not one who frets and strives, / Yet stumbled into traps of lives.
Heaven's way does not deceive me here, / This time sends off the dawn and dusk so clear.
