秀美的藤蔓依附着屋檐，显得苍老，
清寒的树枝映照着屋舍，枝叶稀疏。
鸣叫的虫子报告着寒暖的变化，
从早到晚，都有老鸡在啼呼。
已经吃过了新收的稻米，
还烹煮了自己种植的蔬菜。
邻县有上好的美酒，
我冒雨渡江也要去买回来。

Graceful vines cling to the eaves, aged and entwined,
Sparse wintry branches cast shadows where the house is aligned.
The chirping insects tell of warmth and cold in turn,
At dawn and dusk, the old rooster's crow I discern.
We've dined on newly harvested rice, fresh and plain,
And cooked the vegetables from our own plot, not in vain.
A neighboring land boasts fine wine, a tempting brew,
Through rain I'll cross the river to bring some home, it's true.
