荒僻的树林中，春雨已充足地滋润了大地，
新鲜的竹笋迸发出来，犹如幼小的龙雏。
邻家的老翁殷勤地送来这些馈赠，
家中的老厨欣然接过，准备下厨。
早晨用餐，竹笋甘美饱足，令人满足，
但吃完后，内心纯净，不禁为之叹息。
要珍惜这葛陂竹制成的手杖，
它尚且可以代替我的马儿，助我行走。

In the wild woods, spring rains have fully soaked the ground,
Fresh bamboo shoots burst forth like young dragons from the mound.
A kindly neighbor diligently sends his gift to me,
The old cook gladly takes them to the kitchen, full of glee.
At morning meal, their sweet and satisfying taste I find,
Yet, after eating, a pure sigh escapes my pensive mind.
Cherish the staff from Gebei, this bamboo cane so true,
It still can serve to take the place of my old horse, for you.
