太阳落下，长长的云层使天色昏暗，
秋风在古老的河岸上悲鸣。
沙洲上的鸥鸟远远地避开行客，
野外的蝴蝶嬉戏着追随小船。
我生性疏懒笨拙，只靠着微薄的俸禄，
漂泊零落，已厌倦了远游他乡。
如果没有杯中的美酒，
还有什么能用来消解忧愁呢？

The wind grieves on the ancient bank, autumn's sigh.
Sandbar gulls, far off, shun the passing guest,
Wild butterflies play, following the boat in jest.
My simple nature earns but a meager pay,

If not for the wine within my cup so deep,
What else could I employ to make sorrow sleep?
