The scene outshines the one of yesteryear.
No lingering haze south of the stream is seen;
A lonely wisp of smoke hangs where sky's rim is clean.
Old as I am, I'll lay the official seal aside.
Homeward I'll ride, with broidered saddle as my pride.
West Lake is full of joys and pleasures new.
Yet old hills and streams stir thoughts in me anew.
