幽独的情怀没有客人可倾诉，
偶尔独坐，有琴横放一旁。
水面辽阔，柴门显得遥远，
风势高急，惊起了雁阵和野鸭。
感念时局，思索着报答君主，
才学浅薄，愧对自己的一生抱负。

The night rain disrupts my tranquil dream,
Sparse eaves drip with a delicate sound.
My secluded heart finds no guest to converse with,
By chance I sit, a zither laid across the ground.
Waters stretch wide, the brushwood gate seems far away,
Winds rise high, startling wild geese and ducks in flight.
Moved by the times, I think of repaying my lord,
My talent meager, I shame my life's endeavor in this plight.
