生生天地心,吾人秉其真。
虚灵无一物,纯然惟元仁。
如何彼放失,物欲共沉沦。
客感乃为主,本主翳埃尘。
鉴此去物欲,而求我真纯。
求之真即见,端然还在身。
祗恐物与欲,乘间复来侵。
念兹心益奋,日夜终惟寅。
戒惧与谨独,式用存吾神。
于焉生生意,始与天地伦。

天地化生万物的本心是生生不息的。
我们人类秉承了它纯真的本性。
虚灵的心体原本空无一物,
纯粹全然,只是那本初的仁德。
为何这本性会放失、沦丧?
与物欲一同沉沦、堕落。
外来的感官感受反而成了主宰,
本来的心主却被尘垢遮蔽掩埋。
明鉴于此,便要祛除物欲,
去寻求我本真的纯粹。
真诚地去求索,真性便会显现,
端端正正,依然就在自身之内。
只恐怕外物与私欲,
会乘着间隙再度来侵扰。
想到这些,内心更加奋发,
日夜恭敬,始终保持警醒。
怀着戒惧之心,在独处时谨慎不苟,
以此方式来存养我们的精神。
于是,生生不息的意蕴便由此产生,
这才开始与天地的秩序伦常相合。
The vital heart of Heaven and Earth is ever-renewing.
We humans are endowed with its true essence.
The empty spirit holds not a single thing,
Pure and whole, it is the primal benevolence.
How then did we lose it, let it go astray?
Sinking together with material desires into decay.
The guest sensations become the master now,
The original lord obscured by worldly dust somehow.
Reflecting on this, we cast away material desire,
And seek our own true purity, to rise higher.
Seek it truly, and it will appear in sight,
Upright and steadfast, still within our own light.
Only fear that things and cravings, once again,
May find a gap and come invading, causing pain.
Thinking of this, the heart grows more inspired,
Day and night, in reverence, never tired.
With vigilance and caution in solitude we stay,
Thus preserving our spirit along the way.
Thereby the vital force of life begins to thrive,
And with the order of Heaven and Earth, we finally align.
追寻天地本心是对生命根源的深度认知过程。
探讨天地生生不息之心与人的本性真纯。
